How Amazon returns work with a pickup service

Start the return in the Amazon app or website as you normally would and choose a drop-off option. Amazon emails you a QR code. That code is the entire return — you do not need to print a label or repack the item in the original box for most drop-off methods.

When you book with us, paste the order number or just note that the QR code is in your email. Your driver collects the item, shows the code at the counter, and the return is scanned into Amazon’s system. Your refund timeline starts at that scan, not when we picked it up.

Where we drop Amazon returns

Depending on what your QR code specifies, Amazon returns go to a UPS Store, Whole Foods, or Kohl’s. We read the code and take it to the correct location — you do not have to figure out which one applies.

This matters more than it sounds. Taking a return to the wrong drop-off point is one of the most common ways an Amazon return gets rejected, and the customer usually does not find out until the refund fails to appear.

The 30-day window is the real problem

Amazon return windows are generous but finite, and the box by the door is the single most common place a refund dies. There is no penalty and no notification — the window closes and the money is simply not coming back.

A pickup costs $19.99 and covers up to three items. If the box by your door is worth more than that, booking a pickup is straightforwardly the better outcome.
